Re: Cheap 2GB 50 pin SCSI drive required please.
Man, I cry when I think about all the stuff I've binned over the years, I had a large box full of 50pin, ultra wide & LVD disks that I smashed with a hammer about 10 years ago. They were all server grade 10K or 15K RPM disks too. I had another box full of cables, terminators, & Adapters that...

Re: RMC Cave visit
I think I need a visit too.
I've got a similar problem with my kitchen btw, it has an old pitch floor and is perishing cold in winter... don't think the wife would be too keen on me smashing it up and digging out just a couple hours per night though Good luck with the work.

Re: BennehBoy's Bobbins
I've wanted an Amiga 1200 for quite some time. I 'binned' my original 1200 that I had from new somewhere around 2002 when the PSU died   Anyway, prices seem to be ridiculous recently so I've been on the lookout for a bargain. And thinking out of the box, literally, I snagged a fully work...

I forgot that the plastic 128D had the full separate 1571 internals - nice.

Re: Phil C’s C128D, repair, upgrade etc
I don't really have a recommendation to be honest as I never got around to trying the ones that I found.

Re: Phil C’s C128D, repair, upgrade etc
What are your plans for a keyboard? There are a few projects on github to add ps/2 support, I was considering writing some stm32 HID code to do a USB conversion when I was looking about for a 128, but got a pizza box one with external 1571 in the end so that never even got started.

Re: BennehBoy's Bobbins
I made up a little power adapter for the Master-41 drive, it uses the exact same PSU as the 154 & 1581, but the DIN connector is slightly different (although curiously it's the same on some models?). Anyway, this just means I can have one less PSU as I never use these at the same time. PXL_20230...

The 'hard' membrane replacements are really good btw.
