I don't think that you'll have much trouble. Relative to the stuff you usually do the soldering on CRTs is agricultural. The biggest issue you may have is finding a reasonably large soldering iron bit so as to heat the legs of the transformer to get the solder out. Having said that, not having the p...

The NiMH battery juice is actually an alkali and not an acid. To neutralise the chemical you can use white vinegar and then clean with water.

The DIP switch for the keyboard arrived today and I've managed to solder it in whilst cooking dinner.

I'm now just awaiting the replacement case screws now and the Beeb will be effectively finished.

How many layers is that relocator?
