Re: TF1230 Beta Interest (Open Source)

Would be glad to be in the beta; I have almost all the needed parts, but I surely need a couple of connectors: would anyone point me to where I can get them ? (Or sell me a couple at a reasonable price ?)

Re: TF536 Firmare Update RC3

Please be aware that you will most likely need a 32 bit windows to run the Xilinx ISE (14.1) and the programmer drivers. Even if you have an old WinXP machine it will be fine. There's a workaround to get it to work on 64bit win10, couple of files to replace. Details on here -> https://alchitry.com/...

But grant me a hint: where did you get those A1200 edge connectors from ?
I would need a few for a prototype of a tiny project I am developing...
@alenppc did a bulk order of 200. I took 50 or so.
Thx a lot, I'll get in touch with him to have hints.

Re: TF1260 stuff

Wishing to have one to have fun with, but realizing I am not part of the 'chosen' ring (no complaint here, I well understand terriblefire's motivations, and if he knows me a bit, he also knows my points of view). But grant me a hint: where did you get those A1200 edge connectors from ? I would need ...

Re: Assembled TF536 - help needed

I spotted this last one and It was "fixed" after my previous reflow.

Just finished to pass all memory tests, everything 100% works as it should.

If only we have had such an accelerator board at good old Amiga times .. ;)

Re: Assembled TF536 - help needed

My bet is that D15 on the ram is shorted to power. But here is everywhere that bit gets routed. Mighty Stephen !!!!!! Correctly spotted: there was a bridge under IC7, indeed. Not visible with the uscope, hidden enough. I focused my troubleshoot on the cpld and did not consider the "Easy-to-sol...

Re: Assembled TF536 - help needed

And what happens when you try to write 1's ? Try the following patterns, 0s As 5s and Fs. It looks like a bad data bit D15 (lower half of the 32 bit data bus) so far FFs -> all correctly written AAs -> all correctly written 55s -> read back D5 at same positions where reads 80 if writing 00 (as I wo...

Re: Assembled TF536 - help needed

Well we can tell you exactly which pins are bridged if you do a complete memory detection and try editing the memory and see which byte lanes arent happy. This is the 4th or 5th thread with exactly the same symptoms. all 4 were resolved using memory editor, complete memory detection and some magnif...

Re: Assembled TF536 - help needed

@sampedenawa in your photos its hard to tell but it looks like there are bridges across some of the cpld pins. Flood with flux (too much) and reflow the ram and cpld. Probably is a combination of flux remains and (too) low details of the pics, but I checked the pins of the cpld with a digital uscop...
