Re: Why do people think that Hyperion are the blockers to Open Source AmigaOS?

I've already purchased 3.2 (and 3.1.4) and I don't care about all the legal rubbish, simple fact is that all parties involved in the legal disputes are wasting money that could be better spent elsewhere, it's like two children arguing over a broken toy, in the end a pointless argument.

Re: Why do people think that Hyperion are the blockers to Open Source AmigaOS?

Having said that I would love to see a SVN/Git source history from 0.x betas through 3.x, would be so interesting to see how it's evolved.

Re: Why do people think that Hyperion are the blockers to Open Source AmigaOS?

If tomorrow I magically owned all Amiga IP and sources I would not open source it because: 99/100 open source projects splinter and die, you either have to be lucky, have a corporate sponsor that effectively develops in the open or you have a clear central leader who can function as a benevolent dic...

We are official Hyperon resellers and are now taking back orders for the new AmigaOS 3.2 Any questions just ask :-) Hi, trying to place an order now, but your checkout can't lookup my address,.. maybe you don't like Coventry ! Checked it multiple times, pretty sure it's not me. Funnily enough if I ...

Is it that new Buffee board maybe?
I can neither confirm or deny ...
Makes sense really, the buffee looks pretty good as a plain 68k emulator/accelerator/whatever, this being basically an adaptor board to get it into the 1200 expansion slot.

Re: A1200 timing fixes for the 1260

I don't know that much about electronics mass production, but how is it possible to accidentally fit a capacitor? You give them a list of parts (BOM) and where they go (CPL)... I suppose the pads were on the board in the cad system and they may have needed to be manually removed from the BOM...
