Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog

I'll try and shrink it somehow. By the way it looks like you've mounted the image (that's the 32gb 'loop device' in your image) Don't have it mounted when you're doing this, it'll get confusing. You just click the one above that, the 31gb sd card 'mass storage device', click the gears and 'restore i...

Re: Falcon Csync video fault.

@Roberto

Just do exactly what Exxos did in his first post, follow the photographs. If you get the results he saw, then you know what to do.

Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog

Please give gnome-disk-utility a try, that's what it's called in Debian. Try apt-get install gnome-disk-utility (it's called Disks) I use it for everything, my favorite imager/restorer for Linux. Pi imager isn't supposed to be a general purpose thing.

Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog

Another idea: I could zip-up simply my Home directory which will include all the Github stuff. You would just need to follow the parts in the guide that talk about configuring the Pi's speed/mhz etc. And cmdline.txt stuff.

Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog

Hmm yeah some cards can be like this... mines a Sandisk. If you get really stuck I can investigate how to actually shrink my Pi's disk image from within the device itself, but I dunno how to do this I'd have to do a bit of research.

Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog

Also: The reason I've gone to the trouble of making a copy of my SD card and uploading it, is because the Pistorm Github is very much 'in flux'. It has changed 900 times since we got my H5 build up and running. The firmwares are all different now. They've had multitudes of tweaks for various STe pla...

Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog

exxos I gave you a guide on wpa_supplicant earlier on... time to take your vitamins Chris! Here's a slightly better guide: https://www.raspberrypi-spy.co.uk/2017/04/manually-setting-up-pi-wifi-using-wpa_supplicant-conf/ Just obviously do 'country=gb' and change any other settings to match you setup.

Re: Exxos's PiStorm blog

exxos If you now know the MAC address & have it enabled on your network (or whatever it is you needed to do) Then I suggest stop using this new install & attempt to burn & configure the image I gave you. Since all of it is pre-configured. Once you write the image to the SD, mount it and...
