Re: VAT charges to EU states

You can phone UPS up on any number and the person answering the call can process a payment from you.
A refund? It seems nobody can and they cannot even put you through to someone that can. They just point you to an email address that seems to answer with the speed of continental drifts.

Re: VAT charges to EU states

Yeah UPS have been a real pain in my arse recently. They love taking money from you, but to get it back from them even when they admit fault is a nightmare. I've stopped using them myself for posting out.

If you can show a tax pre-payment, UPS cannot charge.

To me, you have the perfect mindset for producing this kind of hardware. If you fell prey to the 5%, you'd probably get 5% of the work done and we would all be asking when the TF534 is coming along.

In more rude but needed terms, 'F**K them'. Stay perfect.

Re: The future of TerribleFire

something for the A600 would be nice, there is nothing for it. The Vampire for the A600 was discontinued some time ago, and there really is nothing else, apart from the Furia's that appear from time on Ebay. A600's are catered for quite well. The Furia is available new and cheaply. It's pretty much...

Re: TF1230 Beta Interest (Open Source)

I just soldered in a 288 and flashed it.
Revision 2B working so far
128MB RAM installed and seemingly fine too.

More testing now.

I was more interested in the cost savings by eliminating the need for a socket. I much prefer SMT in any scenario, even swapping out takes me seconds.

I think it's the next logical step.
An Atari Falcon in FPGA would be awesome.
Made onto a board similar to the UnAmiga.
