TTM 194 - 19" ECL mono monitor for TT.
I'm about to move house and this monitor is too big to come with me so it has to go.
It's faulty but you might find it useful as parts spares or maybe repair. Under no circumstances I post this, it's way too much hassle and giving away for free.
It switches on, led comes up but no screen activity (looks like flyback or something else) - I have never checked - monitors are not my thing.
Unfortunately they dropped it when I shipped my collection over and the base couldn't cope with the weight. I tried repairing but it's just cracked again.
It's currently in my loft in a box that is not suitable for shipping.
Collection only from London, UK, SE25.
Unfortunately if this can't be arranged in the next month or so, it'll end up recycled.

Declaring interest.

I have to withdraw interest, I was hoping my father who used to deliver to London might go and help me navigate, but he basically told me no way as it would take four hours just to get from one side to the other. It is a real shame you won't allow a courier to pick up, especially since these monitors are so rare and I can probably fix it.

switch the monitor on and put a sheet of paper to the tube screen. When it stick the (flyback transformer) HV voltage is present and good
Re: TTM194 mono monitor - faulty/broken - Free - pickup only
It's packed away but from what I remember there is no static charge on screen, this is why I suspected a bad flyback transformer.
I can't promise anything at this stage but the moving might produce a box that I'd say safe and big enough to be shipped in. However I prefer to be picked up as is. Sorry I know it sounds brutal and I don't' like throwing atari branded stuff away but it is not my priority right now. Thanks for understanding.

Okay Robson, please once you have a better idea let me know. Would be a damn shame to recycle it.
Re: TTM194 mono monitor - faulty/broken - pickup only
I'm willing to look into options of sending within UK.
Let me know.
Price is £5 for the monitor and whatever postage/courier will be (roughly around £30-£40).

Hi @Robson,
Yep me again - lets do this! Thanks for this. I assume you have suitable box etc. Once it's all packed and ready let me know the dimensions & weight - I'll arrange the courier on a day appropriate to you.
Cheers
Steve
