Put the resistors in the floppydrive and not on the mainboard. I think there is no need for the array onto the ajax controller ...

@frank.lukas I'm just following the advice here...
I "think" my soldering skills might be good enough to do the 10k bussed resistor fix, we'll see about the other one, I might have to get help with that from the members of the Sydney Amiga Group who said they'd help out.
Soldering resistors to the motherboard using those little holes seems easier than taking the whole floppy drive apart. My original floppy broke, so the one I have now is a good one from the Exxos store, the last thing I want to do is break that by taking it apart.exxos wrote: ↑Sun Jul 12, 2020 9:15 am I would suggest you do at least fixes 3&4 https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... =17&t=1585

Falcon mainboards are worth a lot of money. I personally would not solder anything there. Buy a other floppydrive ...

How about modifying the cable and putting pull-ups on that?
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.
