0048, 0139, 0162 boards are for the STE.

Other boards are for STFM or MEGA ST. The note is there because you can't drop a TOS206 ROM into a STFM without a TOS206 ROM decoder which the V2 booster has.

STE DUAL TOS ROMs use 1.62, 2.06
STFM DUALTOS use TOS 1.02, 1.04
STFM DUALTOS WITH V2 BOOSTER can use any ROM, but generally 1.04,2.06 (but 1.02,1.04 is still fine)

The "32MHZ FAST TOS" is just the label, it is confusing people.. it just means it CAN run at 32MHZ if a booster is used, which then makes it "FAST TOS". I did this because people sometimes burn their own ROMs and if they use a slower chip and try to use it with the booster, it won't work. This is why I put 32MHz on the sticker to "prove" they can also run at that speed. In terms of a stock STE, it makes no odds whatsoever.

I think I'm going to have to do this as I've no replaced the sockets as well and no difference so I don't have many more avenues to go down:-(

Can you PM me the details for returns please.

Thank you for this! Just ran into the same issue myself. My solution...
