Re: STM C070243 Rev F Rom locations.
This is exactly what I did on my 260ST yesterday - upgrade from 6x original ROM TOS 1.0 to 6x 27C256 TOS 1.04 . Thanks to the fact that it was a replacement of ROM chips 1: 1, everything went well. I also tried TOS 1.04 on 2x 27C512 in positions Lo0 and Hi0, but it didn't work for me. I also tried to return this machine to prehistoric times BOOTLOAD ROM with 2x 27C64, but also without success. Does anyone know if there is also a solder box on the board that will change the ROM configuration, such as STE W101, W102 and W103 and MSTE W201, W202 and W203?
