Correct @alexh a PPC640.

@PhilC - you called it first. @stephen_usher - I wish it was an SX.

Oh, that's the expanded 640K machine!

Still no back light for the screen, but that's probably a good thing as there's less to go wrong.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Is this one of the rare units with a hard disk built in or just twin floppies?

Just the twin floppies. Now looking at how to mod for IDE.

Yes it is in great condition. When I pulled it out the carry case it was like new.

PhilC wrote: Thu Aug 05, 2021 8:34 pm @Icky is it that Atari you always wanted? But then it's long and thin, so could be an Amstrad PPC
It wasn't the Atari PC-1 that I have been looking for.

This arrived today. Nice small XT-CF-Mini ISA card. I plan to mount this inside the PPC640 to give it an internal HDD.
