@PhilC Do you think it is possible to shave away some of the top-plastic case of the 68010 in the middle, I wonder if it would hit a metal lid that I can effectively heatsink?

I don't think you'll find anything underneath to attach the heatsink to. It can be put on top of the chip as is though as you know.

I've a 68010 16mhz PLCC chip to try at some point.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Okay new results with @Badwolf 's new incremental-e54c003 firmware, I also realised the black boxes are caused by blitter being enabled, this is still the same even with the new firmware so I've been turning blitter off now. Not using any kind of maprom yet, EmuTOS 1.1.1:

Hmm, those benchmarks are low.

Should be 7.7MB/s and 207% on the Integer Division or thereabouts.

Will have to check that firmware again later -- unfortuantely subsequent changes I was working on have made things worse, so will have to wind back a little way.

DSTB1 Open source 16Mhz 68k and AltRAM accelerator for the ST

IGNORE ME!

I just remembered you're on a 50MHz oscillator.

That would mean AltRAM figures of around 6MB/s would be about correct.

I'll shut up now. :stars:

@Badwolf I'll be looking forward to the possible future bodge-wire fix for blitter support :D
