Yeah I already read the guide & did a search for the word 'decode' and nothing came up. I did read the bit where it says it controls the H5 boot, but wasn't sure whether I could 'assume' decoding from that.

Steve why would you use Trudie with your 536 which has a working IDE interface? Just querulous.

You should have been around for the remake board. Plenty of bodge wires there.

Oh I was, although late in the game. I inherited @Atarian Computing's alpha board, and even tried to do the monitor port fix with nothing but bodge wires. I didn't get that board working before H4 came along, so I jumped ship and built the H4 instead, eventually successfully.

@exxos Well, when the H5C boards arrive, I'll have 2x H4 plus 2x H5 boards but only the two older TF536 boards.

So, fully understand the lack of alt ram for now but maybe in the (distant) future...?

I can also take the "bodge wire board". But I'm also planning on getting some other parts from the shop so I hope that is doable?
