Hello,
I am looking for someone that can do some tinkering on a couple of Falcons that I have please?
Both are going to need the general reset issue solving and both will need the NVRAM replacement. Sadly my soldering skills aren't up to tackling the motherboard. I was happy enough messing with "botching" the nvram but the motherboard is another matter. One was working and had problems retaining time, trying to reset the nvram appears to have killed it however now it posts and get to desktop sometimes, other times a black screen (playing with replacing the floppy seems to help for a while before it fails to boot again). The other one is a mystery it will boot and appears to work okay however I don't like the look of a resistor that's been attached to try and make the ct63 work (that's another story and one I can progress with once I am happy everything else is working okay).
Is there anyone that would be willing to look at them please? For appropriate compensation..... obviously
