I will never emulate when it comes to Atari.

Found here:

Thanks!
I'm not suggesting you emulate, merely using Hatari to verify that the image you suggested was a ROM image and not a disk image. They are not the same and you'll never boot a TOS 1.0 ROM image like a disk.

Also I don't believe you can boot a TOS 1.0 floppy on a machine that contains full TOS in ROM, at least not without SELTOS.

I know you wasn't I'm just weird.

MIDI Draw still fails to load with either US and UK TOS disk loaders anyway. It just freezes.

p.s. I can never do the quote thing!

Please accept my apologies @rubber_jonnie

CTRL_ALT_REES recently produced a video regarding the original floppy TOS.

First time I'd ever seen it in action. Perhaps worth a goosey?

I picked up a 260ST a few years ago, "as is" (seller had no PSU or knowledge of the system), and was very pleased to find that it had the original floppy boot ROMs. I've actually never booted a floppy TOS on it though. But it was the first time I ever saw that rainbow coloured boot screen in person.

Mine is a German model with 512 KB on the board, and a piggyback expansion, which apparently was a fairly common original configuration for these systems.
