Don't do it you will only have more projects to do. :) I made a replica part for a friends shower yesterday as he couldn't find a spare / replacement part anywhere.

I did it manually using the pattern command in Fusion. Then filled a few hexagons in to make it look different :)

Finished. Well almost :)

Made the mesh vents slightly wider so that it is more stable and doesn't break. Am just printing out the rear panel now (one in picture has the prototype rear panel). I see a few little tweaks and then I'll stick this up on Thingiverse also as I don't mind, I'll stick up some STEP files as well as the STL's so if anyone wants to mod this design they can feel free to do so.

You can also see the Lightning USB connector coming out of the VME port and will adapt the enclosure to take that in and have the USB connector facing out the back of the enclosure where the fan vent is as can be seen below (or not as its black plastic).

And the reason for doing this all in the first place is to place on its side so it fits under the monitor.

Looks really nice! I like how it's much slimmer than my mod.

My pleasure. This is exactly what needs to happen. Build on, and improve on, each other's work.

Have finally published the STL files on Thingiverse

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3831820

However I will place the actual cad files on this thread later if anyone wants to remix it for their own requirements.
