Ok not sure how that would work. Will that setup all the HId layers and everything required? cubemx will setup everything as makefiles.

Almost finished the routing ... just need to finish the RTC stuff.
I need "only" find way of initialising usb, and reading hid...
And handling ack() from Amiga after receiving input.
I will time box it till end of January. If I will not be able to progress it I will start looking at CubeMX.
On my board at least.. amiga doesnt ack. CPLD handles everything. You just shove everything that happens into SPI2.

If you tie the ARM direct to the bus it simply will not work at all.

THERE ARE STILL BUGS IN THE EAGLECAD SO DO NOT Place an order

EDIT: Design is complete... no idea if it will work.

Ok... Board ordered... lets see what happens.

I'll send out 3 bare boards to anyone interested in building it / developing for it.

I don’t remember if the DB23 has been discussed earlier in this thread, but as they can’t really be bought from the usual sources wouldn’t a VGA connector be better? Or will people assume that it’ll work with any monitor if it has a VGA port on it?
A kludge is a workaround or quick-and-dirty solution that is clumsy, inelegant, inefficient, difficult to extend and hard to maintain.

My lack of focus:
[ 4 * Amiga 500 ][ Amiga 500+ ][ 2 * Amiga 600 ][ A1200 ][ Amiga 2000 w/ A2386 ][ Amiga 4000/030 w/ CyberVision 64 3D, FastLane SCSI Z3 ][ CD32 ][ VIC-20 ][ 4 * C64 Breadbin ][ 5 * C64C ][ 2 * C128 ][ C128D ][ C64 DTV ][ Mac Classic ][ Mac Classic II ][ Mac Colour Classic ]

As mentioned earlier in the thread. alenppc has 300 of them or so.. we have sources.

Anyways the point of this prototype is to test the USB integration onto the riser.

TBH... I'm probably not even going to put a connector on my prototype build. Might only put one MCA connector on too. This board is just about getting some knowledge built up around the ARM CPU.

It may also be possible later to wire the arm up to the floppy controls (and we dont even need a real CIA) but lets walk before running .. we can always add patch wires etc.
