This sounds really promising, glad to hear that development continues!supaduper wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 8:56 am Upadate:
Steve wrote the CPU speed tool yesterday giving options of speeds of 60mhz to 100mhz, we have both tried it on our A1200`s and we have both achieved a speed of 75mhz which is most respectable and the WHDload crashes have been solved with the `NOMMU` switch used in tooltypes
this is without any cooling at the moment which again is remarkable, so I would like to personally thank Steve for his hard work

Re: TF1260 appears on my doormat
Does anyone know if this baord will be sucessful and will be stable enought, is it going to be availiable to build for everyone?
I remeber TF mentioned in the past that it might be exclusive for just few people?

I imagine board stability = success. As this is a for love rather than for money card.
And stability can only be determined by testing.
And the testers (hopefully the exclusive few you refer to) are the people that will build board for end users.
Otherwise we will be limited to Jens & Warp 1260 closed source solutions, which Steven was trying to crack open the monopoly.

Well that's a nice idea but I thought we were never getting that because you'd stopped development?terriblefire wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 11:54 pm CD32 with a 360 is the best option. Its got awesome passive cooling in the case. By far my fav Miggy.

I just realised that my previous comment sounds like a criticism of your decision not to develop the cards anymore, it wasn't and I apologise!
The comment was just because I thought all development on cards was ending so we'd never get to buy the tf360.

Well, wouldn't my stock 1200 love one of these. If anyone is going to eventually be selling pcbs, I'd love to have a bare board.
Re: TF1260 appears on my doormat
I have the 1260 running nicely on my 1200
Currently with a Rev 1 CPU doing 62 mhz without issues.
It won't boot on one of my motherboards though. I have to see if this board needs timing fixes.
