Parts required are the YM chip (Exxos sells them), Z80A (widely available) and the VDP9958/VDP9938... those are still obtainable.

I'm told that most people use carts thesedays.. The board has 2 cart slots.

I guess we could also emulate a tape from the ARM?

I have repro carts from someone.. I know those everdrives are nice but... i like the physical changing of carts

@arkadiusz.makarenko .. I need some info on how you want the ARM wired up to the main CPLD/PSG for keyboard purposes.

So if we want to wire this grid to this?

Then we will be using only GPIOs. So any pin can be set up and configured as needed. I think all pins on f7 are 5V tolerant.
Unless it has to respond in less than few uS, then it is not important.

i'll wire IOA of the PSG to Port A, IOB to port B.

I'm not planning to put the mux chips on unless you think thats important or would slow the software down?
