Thanks Stephen for all the work you’ve done for the Amiga scene. My Amiga machines certainly wouldn’t be as enjoyable without the TF cards.

I look forward to seeing whatever you choose to do =D The impact TerribleFire has had (and continues to have) on the Amiga scene is just awesome! I can never thank you enough for empowering all of our Amigas! The A600, meh - its too cramped in there for upgrades imo!

It has certainly been very interesting, satisfying and entertaining watching the development of the TF series. Thanks for sharing your extensive PCB design and programming skills, subsequently providing affordable upgrades for the Amiga.

Well really this is what its all been about. Helping people enjoy their machines without breaking the bank. I've never considered myself a superman or someone who wanted to make money from the scene... just try not to go bankrupt subsidising other peoples hobbies.

If you're looking for one last Amiga HW addon. That no-one else has ever made/attempted. That would be reasonably simple and is quite well documented....
A CDTV CD-ROM (custom Matsushita) -> PATA ATAPI CD-ROM bridge.
The biggest (currently) irreplaceable bit of a CDTV is the optical drive. It should be (in theory) possible to map from one command set to the other. Either with a CPLD or possibly even a microcontroller (although it would need a lot of pins).
The Matsushita command set is documented in several places.
I know you wanted someone to re-write the CDTV ROM to use a gayle like IDE interface but the person who just re-wrote lots of the CDTV ROM to add 32-bit FastRAM + 030 compatibility thinks it is a very large amount of work. Too much for him.
Physically slot-loading laptop PATA ATAPI CD-ROM drives fit well as a replacement for the original CD drive.
