Hello,
i have some questions about flash ROM that is placed on TF534.
How can i program and use it?
Is new firmware is needed to activate it?
Can i program it separately before soldering on the board?
Have asked about on last live stream, but got no answer, unfortunately...

Re: Flash ROM
Use flashrom to read and write it. There is a github fork with it on. It’s not very useful

Re: Flash ROM
Oh...
was under impression i can use it to write Kickstart into it, so users doesn't need to install 3.1 KS to be able to use TF534's IDE....

Re: Flash ROM
At present yes. I never implemented this feature because the CPLD didnt have enough space.

So i can solder this flash chip on an adapter, flash KS 3.1 in it, and it will be detected on boot (original KS rom will be ignored)?

Re: Flash ROM
No its mapped only via the SPI interface. Not as a ROM. I'm probably never going to do get it working as a ROM.
