TF534 Not run

Post by dragmar »

The plate lay for a long time, I decided to solder it

Even soldering went fast, first I soldered without RAM and checked if it starts. He succeeded and began to solder IC RAM and CPLD. The programming went well. But the card does not boot.

I launched DIAGROM. It took off, I checked the RAM and it turned out that the photo will show it better :)

Where is the best place to look for the fault?

It looks like ram issue to me.
Can you do slow manual test fastram region 0x40000000 - 0x4040000 ?

I started checking IC8 connections. It turned out that the pin had no contact with VCC and A21.

The diagram still shows this error, but I already know it is. THX @ PaulJ_2.0

But I have another problem. The card takes off, but ...
AmigaTestKit shows detected FASTRAM - 4MB.

But when I choose DIRECT MEMORY SCAN the system does not see 4MB

@PhilC I cannot do a manual test, I only have the 8A1 board, the GOTEK and the mouse connected.
But it does the test https://archive.org/details/Advanced_Am ... -30_Wilcom
it's okay so far

I took out the AMIGA board to test the card. Ultimately, the TF534 will land in the ATARI 520ST.

That ram is fine if it does 10 passes with no issues.
