Re: Flashy Clock - Yet another DEV board
Finally back to this project
Done the needed patching in firmware and software.
@Icky not sure anymore where you got up to with your FC driver ? Just get 3 bombs after it loads. But its been sat on my desktop for like 3 years. So not even sure what build it is anymore.

Re: Flashy Clock - Yet another DEV board
@exxos sent you source code
Re: Flashy Clock - Yet another DEV board
So unsurprisingly, this was my fault as usual But I guess this is what happens when you don't look at firmware from one year to the next. Anyway, fixes now in firmware...and alt-ram now installed and working!
So just need the TIME / DATE thing doing now @Icky

Re: Flashy Clock - Yet another DEV board
So @Icky , I've been off building a UniFlex computer for some time and lost track of where Flashy Clock is. Is there a final version out or are we still turning engineering releases?
Re: Flashy Clock - Yet another DEV board
@PaulJ, the version @exxos has been testing here is v7.0 and everything seems to be working well. We are doing a few more tests with drivers / software and then we will need to produce the v7.1 board which fixes a few minor bugs and a bodge wire. It’s feeling like v7.1 will be the version ready for the masses.
This page is where we are keeping the status and info of all the Phoenix E-Boards.
Sounds like we need a separate topic post on your Uniflex computer @PaulJ. Would be interesting to hear about it.
Re: Flashy Clock - Yet another DEV board
Alt-ram was on for a few hours testing last night and seems fine.
I just updated the buyers interests thread. Please note these will only work on the H5 series,

Re: Flashy Clock - Yet another DEV board
@Icky, I'll put something up. Its really a unique machine running a 63b09 at 4 MHz with an advanced design for memory management. UniFlex is a full featured UNIX which is very responsive running on an 8 bit machine. It even sports yacc and lex which I find pretty impressive on a 8 bit machine. It feels pretty similar to HPUX I used to run on the old HP-300 series machines.
Re: Flashy Clock - Yet another DEV board
Nice touch. The FlashyClock board when set to boot from Motherboard (MB) ROM (i.e. the ROM chip on the H5) it boots 104 or 206 (depending on the ROM jumper on the H5) from a 104 / 206 chip so FlashyClock is also helping out with MB ROM decoding, BONUS!
