More goodies back from the PCB manufacturer, Flashy v7. Unfortunately they could not do the boards in black :(

Looks like I have a busy weekend ahead with these and the Phoenix Shifter :)

Well one Flashy v7 got built this morning. Voltera worked a charm and saved me a lot of time.

Got mine built up and firmware tweaks done.. Still ended up with a bodge wire  but at least this version is not suffering from the DMA bus shorts now.

While finishing the firmware, I have run into a serious space limit in the PLD :( I cannot complete all the features I wanted to add. So we are trying to fit a second (smaller) PLD on the board to take care is of some of the logic processing. As always, one step forward, two steps back

Catching up on stuff, so sorry if I'm behind the curve...

I've got a question about the Flashy Clock.

How close are the STorm ST (and clock) and the Flashy Clock, when compared.

They seem to have very comparable specs...

Thanks.

@Darklord They're not actually comparable because Flashy clock is a 3.3V design primarily to use on the H5 series motherboards. We may be doing adapters for original machines in the future, but it really depends on interest.

Oh, okay. I didn't realize they weren't for all ST's (yet).

Thanks! :)

I have been trying to print with a nozzle which is basically too big,as I do not currently have the correct size ones:(

Use my new toy, though I am not sure the bed heater is working as the temperature is all over the place along with the soldering iron, which is not actually plugged in anyway..

Seems there was too much paste on the pads, which I am not really surprised about.. So will try and tidy them up.. Though likely it will have to wait until I can obtain some smaller nozzles.

Managed to find a unbroken original nozzle which is a fraction smaller :)
