Needs flashed with esp_slip_router (search on github the instructions are there and not worth repeating) then you can run my script on the esp driver thread.Steve wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 10:17 pm Sorry for the perhaps basic question, but could someone point me in the direction of this ESP8266 wifi for amiga, has a tutorial or guide been made somewhere? I'd like to get my Amiga connected to wifi, I currently use Roadshow tcpip stack and a pcmcia ethernet using Cnet driver. I was gonna get a wifi bridge but then I saw this thread..

@terriblefire I spotted this on EAB about managing your AMIGA over TCP/IP from modern system:

Sort of sounded a little what you were after on original post.

Hey all,
i run SMB-mount, there is a mui and a non-mui version:-
http://aminet.net/package/comm/net/SMBMounter
you don't need the full samba client install, just smb-filesystem:-
http://aminet.net/package/comm/tcp/smbfs-68k
runs with genesis and roadshow IP stacks.
it's solid enough for me to leave it running overnight for full drive backups/restores from a network share. not sure if this is what you're after, but its enough for me to have setup an "Amiga" share on my home server, for everything amiga-ish to connect to.

I started working on a script that would extract anything newer than the last time I ran it, from my local NAS, and copy the slave and readme file to the appropriate destination.
It works OK when having the whdload lha directory mounted within UAE but I got stuck on real amigas when trying to use FTP mount. Never could get that working.
