It’s a slippery slope mate, I can tell you!terriblefire wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 1:11 amI'm seriously thinking about moving away from home computers as a hobby and getting properly into arcades now that i have the space.
I went from a couple of CPS2 boards to in excess of 30 (not to mention a taste for reversing the security key programming method). Then I added some CPS3, and some MVS games, some System 246/256, just a few Cave SH2 boards, and, well… I no longer have a linen cupboard on the landing. No, it’s my ‘CPS2 cupboard’.
Ikea Kallax units will be your friend. Your spouse/partner/co-habitants will be less so.

I've got both a BPPC/040 and B1240. and a couple of rev5 060's i'd been toying with the idea of a CPU swap on those boards. but with the potential for newer kit on the horizon, i'd kinda held off doing anything. would be happy to lend for testing and fund any works needed to pull the 040 off and plop a socket on there?
the only 060 numbers i can give you would be for an Cyberstorm3 :/
