Updated to FW 999 after finding my Xilinx programmer.

CPU speed test is about the same but chip/motherboard access is significantly reduced. i.e. screen draw extremely slow and IDE speed test went down by about a third.

Limited testing so far, but this didn't seem to impact the overclock headroom and stability seemed similar.

Initial tests on full Rev 5, 50MHz through 75MHz. (My Rev 5 cannot do 80MHz. My Rev6 can.)

Are you running MUFASTROM? WIthout this, some things such as onboard IDE will be slow. Run MUFASTROM from the MMULibs package and watch it fly!!

I don't have it installed, but I'm just trying to understand if this is the expected behavior of the current beta. If I mask the chip access speed via MuFastRom then I'm obfuscating the changes the beta made and thus would provide inaccurate feedback on it (even though I would agree it would speed up the system).

MMULib and MuFastRom are expected to be installed.

I did a quick and dirty video on using an FTDI cable to do the upgrades. No pi needed, but the process is the same to flash as if using a pi. Can be done on Windows and doesnt require the card to be in the 1200 for it. Links to the cable for cheaper than rip off bay are in the description.

The latest public releases is the first post in this thread. These are what I used.
