Re: TF4060 Revision 1 Design Complete
In seriousness.. if someone sells me an atari TT for "not a donation but not taking the Gipsy Kiss" prices i will do a TF4060 to TT port

I'd gladly even donate it but then I wouldn't have a TT to enjoy the final product on.terriblefire wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 10:57 pm In seriousness.. if someone sells me an atari TT for "not a donation but not taking the Gipsy Kiss" prices i will do a TF4060 to TT port

I think we have a way forward. Although its not going to be an immediate thing. In the meantime if someone can point me to some atari TT docs (specifically where-ever CPUs are traditionally plugged in ... lol)

This is all great news. However, bear in mind that there are (among all the mb revisions) two types of TT board; The earlier type which comes with a CPU daughtercard and the ones which don't.terriblefire wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 1:34 pmI think we have a way forward. Heres some general TT schematics which may be of some use:

In addition, more informations about the TT motherboard revisions:mrbombermillzy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 1:40 pm This is all great news. The TT doesn't have an accelerator slot. It just has a standard 68030 PGA socket. The TT was designed for a 16MHz 68030 but at the last minute they added a "32 Meg" daughter card so the CPU could be run at 32MHz, double the speed of the bus.terriblefire wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 1:34 pm In the meantime if someone can point me to some atari TT docs (specifically where-ever CPUs are traditionally plugged in ... lol)
Most TT owners have a RAM card plugged into the TT RAM socket which covers the 68030 socket. But I imagine the TT RAM cards would probably not be necessary anymore.
