I have all the parts i need ordered. Most have arrived. Expecting the H4 itself tomorrow.

So should i do the patches up front? or as i go? I was planning to pump in the Rs first then the Cs

I think most people leave them till last. Probably easier that way.

First thing you need to do is start on soldering stuff of the doner board... I will likely not watch the two hours of you desoldering stuff, I'm not sure my sanity could cope with that :lol:

I need to do a full inventory.. Stuff i know i ordered/have

68000 CPU
MFP
6850P x 2
MMU (C101601-38)
DMA (C025913-38)
YM Chip x 2
ROM Chip (thanks exxos)
DAC (i think exxos included one).

So the only chip i think i need is GLUE.

I am going to leave everything else alone on the donor and i'll send it along to the next guy if i dont need it.

@terriblefire The board I sent has a GLUE and MMU... SMT stuff as you like it.. just need to unsolder it and solder to the H4...

Except for cutting the necessary lines on the video DAC. If you're going to take the trace cutting route there, it needs to be done before the chip goes in.

ah yep, I bent the pins up on my chip as my knife work isn't good :)

Yeah i'm just taking stock of what i have already and what i need to butcher.
