Here's a link to my TOS 1.04(IDE Patched)/TOS 2.06 dual ROM that I use in my IDE V1.1 R1C adapters.

https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... =40#p38744

That is a byte-swapped version, so you really need to test with your own programmer to make sure that it will work for you. I use a TL866 II Pro. For the reason that the OTP 27C4096 EPROMS are quite expensive I recommend sourcing some erasable versions so you can test, and if you stuff it up, just erase and retry. At £5-£10 a go, I won't risk bricking my 27C4096s.

Please do read what I've written about byte-swapping as it is an important consideration when burning your ROM.

No, it's still a 27C4096, but you need to include 'erasable' in your searches. They have a quartz window in the top, are generally ceramic packaging rather then plastic, and you pop them into a UV eraser to wipe them.

Something like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1PCS-5PCS-HN ... SwOhlbbFCO

You may be able to find an EEPROM version of them which is a plastic package and allows for them to be erased electrically.

The difference between EPROM & EEPROM is described pretty well here: https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/differenc ... 0contents.

I use this one (1.04/2.06) and it works a treat: https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... =40#p38744

Just make sure you know if it needs to be byteswapped or not for your burner or that you have erasable ROMs as if you get it wrong you can brick it.
