It's what being supportive to the cause is all about. Some (exxos) invest their time, others invest just money. We all invest, without expecting any payoff besides spending time with our beloved Atari platform.

Absolutely agree with the above, I have a second H4 that might never be assembled (or at least not until much later)...the parts I bought for that will mostly go towards the H5 I pre-ordered.

I do also understand that others may have a different view than this... but I don't know of any other truly compatible ST h/w platform under active development.

I'm really grateful for the efforts of all those involved on the forum and all the developments!

Well, at the moment Exxos does seem to be the only place which has 64 way 2.54mm IC sockets in stock. RS are estimating the middle of December for new stock, as are Farnell.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Well, fine by me, they will have sockets back by the time I care about finding a donor machine. I've started this hobby just 2 monthes ago and I already have my hands full of doable -or not- hardware projects.

In my previous hobby, people were calling that "the cursed peanuts"... guess it striked again :D

I've got loads of them.. Maybe 50 more yet. Just not enough space to store them all for stock . will see if I can bump the stock level up any next week.

I have just been told one PCB is faulty, so at best there are 3 B1 still available to order at the time of this post. Anyone who orders a B1 from now on ,should be reminded that they may not make this production batch..
