Was curios on whether or not any one has had any success getting the TF536 to auto boot off drive C: in TOS 2.06. That includes Mega ST, STF/M, H4. If you have, what hard disk driver are you using? are you using a twisted cable? are you tethering the INT?
The other question is: has any one tested any ASCI devices, such as the Ultra Satan, SLM804 or any physical hard drive? As of this point I have had no success getting the aforementioned devices to work properly.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Re: TF536 on the ST
There is no progress i can make without a byte swapped cable.

Re: TF536 on the ST
@terriblefire ill see if I can make up a couple of short twisted cables and send you one if you'd like?
Edit:
Made myself a twisted and EmuTOS sees the drives just fine but tos2.06 doesn't. I dont have the int6 wire connected. Is this supposed to go from ide pin 31 to the acsi port? I can never remember.

PIN 31 ide to pin 10 ASCI, I can do a floppy boot and see the drives in TOS 2.06, but no auto boot off the drive.PhilC wrote: ↑Mon Aug 24, 2020 8:29 am @terriblefire ill see if I can make up a couple of short twisted cables and send you one if you'd like?

Re: TF536 on the ST
That should not be required with a TF536. The autoboot doesnt make sense it must be an OS level issue.Umberto1st wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 6:13 am PIN 31 ide to pin 10 ASCI, I can do a floppy boot and see the drives in TOS 2.06, but no auto boot off the drive.

Re: TF536 on the ST
I have tried with Kaos TOS which works with the 030, but no auto boot in that either

Can you see the drive from floppy boot with KAOS?Umberto1st wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 9:00 pm I have tried with Kaos TOS which works with the 030, but no auto boot in that either
Did you try a twisted cable? I haven't had any success either, but I haven't made a twisted cable yet.
Re: TF536 on the ST
I've briefly tried a twisted cable and as expected it still booted fine eith EmuTOS but would still not boot Tos2.06.
@terriblefire is the IDE code the same across all TF models? Im sure it worked fine when I had a TF534 with @agranlund s firmware.
